INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE AND BUSINESS EVENTS:

MIDEM and SXSW 2011 -

MIDEM (22-26 Jan 2011 - Cannes, France) and SXSW (16-20 Mar 2011 - Austin, Texas) are the two most important showcasing, deal striking and networking events in the international music industry.

MIDEM brings together the music industry’s influencers and decision makers from across the globe. The MidemNet conference provides insightful analysis into the mobile and digital music markets. In 2010 MIDEM integrated these two events and together they are one of the best places to license and discover music, find solutions, make deals, keep abreast of industry trends and to meet the people that could transform your business.

SXSW Music and Media Conference showcases hundreds of musical acts from around the globe on over eighty stages in downtown Austin. By day, conference registrants do business in the SXSW Trade Show in the Austin Convention Centre and partake of a full agenda of informative, provocative panel discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature. SXSW Interactive (11-15 Mar) and SXSW Film (11-19 Mar) are fast becoming similarly important events for the international film and interactive sectors. www.sxsw.com
